Notes on Class Discussions

If the class is mostly a discussion with extensive student involvement, looking for a defined Question, Evidence and Conclusion (see Notes on Non-Technical Course Lectures) will not work.

In this context you will want to:

1. label the topic of the discussion
2. record in bullet form any interesting or insightful points that students make, along with your own insightful points
3. record in bullet form any points that the professor makes, and label them differently so you know it was from him/her

Your final product should be no more than a page long, with the topic and a list of insightful comments about that topic.
