New Vancouver-based website aims to end student procrastination

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Vancouver, B.C. – A new Vancouver-based website promises to put an end to procrastination and help college and university students get better grades with less stress by planning their homework for them.
Homeworktree.com creates individualized homework plans based on a student’s assignments and deadlines. The website breaks down assignments – term papers, readings, and other projects – into manageable tasks and then creates a homework plan balanced over the semester. It even sends reminder emails to the student and offers other homework-planning and paper-writing tips and resources.
Homeworktree.com is the brainchild of former coach, athlete, and graduate student Christie Goode. “University students experience significantly higher stress than the general population – even when compared to their working peers,” says Goode.
“Studies have also shown that students who procrastinate experience a lower quality of life – they drink more, smoke more and have much higher stress levels than the students who plan ahead. Homeworktree.com does the planning for you, so you can have more time to enjoy being a student and do what you want – plus, you’ll get better grades because you’re more prepared.”
One of the most popular features of Homeworktree.com is that it automatically breaks down paper-writing into 12 steps, so that it’s less intimidating to get started. “The research paper as individual steps is more useful than I ever could have imagined. It seriously keeps me on track,” says MBA student Karen Percy.
With a balanced and manageable homework plan, students can live a more balanced life, avoiding the high stress of working deadline-to-deadline.
