- Assumptions make an --- out of u and me. Know the expected responsibilities of the supervisor and the student. It may save you a lot of frustration.
- 2. You must address procrastination.
- This is usually the biggest problem, so break the project into manageable parts, and focus on finishing one task at a time.
- 3. You must find at least one sounding board.
- You'll find it unbelievably helpful to have someone to bounce ideas off, challenge your assumptions, and read drafts.
- 4. You must keep it in perspective.
- Your thesis is important, but it isn’t the be all and end all of who you are. Ten years from now you will disagree with parts of it.
